CORRECT DOSING OF DRY FEED
Dry feedstock with a Moisture Content up to 20% can be handled by this dosing equipment. Spilling of feedstock is reduced to a minimum, resulting in optimized feed costs and a cleaner process. The patented dosing mechanism ensures that the portion will be spread in the crate while passing by. This results in the accurate amount of feed given per crate, which can be translated to an optimum growth for each individual insect. The operator has total control of the portion sizes of which the output is controlled and monitored by the system. The module is capable of dosing small re-feed portions, as well as bigger volumes when supplying the first substrate layer in the crates. The system can be controlled by manual settings or full automation. Using feeding tables it is secured that the insects are fed according to your feeding regime.
